Frequently Asked Questions
No. Ohio’s direct access law lets you start physical therapy without a physician’s referral, so you can book an evaluation with us directly. Learn more about direct access.
We’re a cash-pay clinic and don’t bill insurance directly. Some patients get part of the cost reimbursed out of network. It really depends on your plan, and we’ll give you an itemized superbill to submit. See our pricing to learn more.
Your Initial Client Assessment is 60 minutes, one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. We’ll talk through what’s going on, measure your strength and range of motion, and usually get right into hands-on treatment that same visit. You’ll leave with a clear plan. Learn more about what to expect at your first visit.
EMTT (Extracorporeal Magnetotransduction Therapy) uses high-energy magnetic pulses to reach bone, joint, tendon and soft tissue. Shockwave uses acoustic pressure waves. We often use them together, depending on your injury. Learn more about EMTT.
Yes. The free 15-minute phone consultation is there for anyone with questions about what we do. It’s not a required first step, so you’re also welcome to book an evaluation directly.
